SECURITY FOR UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS & CLINICS
University of Utah Health Security is a division of the University of Utah Department of Public Safety, which is led by the Chief Safety Officer. University of Utah Health Security is responsible for the security of the University of Utah hospitals and clinics. Security officers are non-sworn, unarmed, and work 24/7, patrolling all areas of the University Hospital, clinics, research facilities, buildings, and parking structures.
